Come and join us on November 4, 2017, 4-6pm, Saturday at Makati Cinema Square to enjoy the following:

What is Bachata? Bachata is a style of dance that originated in the Dominican Republic. It is danced widely all over the world but not identically. The basics to the dance are three-step with a Cuban hip motion, followed by a tap including a hip movement on the 4th beat. Sample video here.

What is Kizomba? Kizomba is a dance and music genre originally from Angola. The term “kizomba” comes from the linguistic expression Kimbundo, which means “party”.It is both a dance and a music which developed in Angola in the late 1980s and 1990. What to wear:

Gym clothes
Dancing shoes (sneakers will do if no dancing shoes)

If commuting:
If you’re riding a bus from North/ South, get off at Magallanes, then ride a jeepney going to Makati Cinema Square. Dancing Queen Studio is at the ground floor.

If you’re riding MRT, get off at Magallanes station, then ride jeepney going to PRC then tell the driver you’re getting off at Makati Cinema Square. 🙂
